Juv’ae Social Media Mission: February 2025
#MasseterMastery – Join the Movement!
It’s time to take over social media! Each month, we’re uniting as a collective to showcase our expertise and boost visibility.
By working together and posting aligned, strategic content, we can create a viral effect across Instagram and TikTok. Google and Meta’s algorithms love trends, and by all posting on the same topic with consistent hashtags, we can increase engagement and drive more bookings.
This month’s focus is on masseter muscle treatments. We challenge you to:
✔Create a short video (1-2 minutes) educating your audience on the masseter muscle treatment.
✔Before creating content, read through the SOP on Juv’ae Academy for accuracy.
✔Post it on Instagram and TikTok.
✔Tag @juvae_au
✔Use the following hashtags to boost visibility:
Your business name (e.g., #YourClinicName)
Your location (e.g., #Castlehill)
#Juvae
#MasseterMastery
Tips for Success
Video Quality Matters:
- Film in good lighting—natural light or a ring light is best.
- Use a tripod or stable surface to avoid shaky footage.
- Speak clearly and confidently—engage your audience!
Make It Engaging:
- Start with a hook
- Keep it short & punchy—attention spans are short!
- Use text overlays to highlight key points.
PS: Check out Jacinta's blog in this newsletter for expert tips and tricks on creating compliant, high-impact videos!
Optimise for Reach:
- Post your video at peak times (evenings & weekends perform best).
- Reply to comments and engage with viewers to boost visibility.
- Use the same hashtags across all platforms to create momentum.
⚠️ Important Compliance Guidelines – What NOT to Say in Your Video
As we take over social media with our monthly mission, it’s crucial that all content remains compliant with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) guidelines on advertising medicines and medical treatments. This means:
DO NOT:
Make therapeutic claims – You cannot state that a treatment will definitely result in a specific outcome. Avoid phrases like:
- “This treatment will slim your face.”
- “Masseter injections will cure teeth grinding.”
- “You’ll look younger instantly with this treatment.”
Mention brand names of prescription medications – Do not refer to specific neurotoxins or fillers by name (e.g., Botox, Dysport, Xeomin). Instead, use general terms like "a prescription muscle relaxant” or “a medical aesthetic treatment.”
Show or imply a treatment in progress – Your video should be educational, not promotional. Do not film yourself injecting or preparing syringes, as this can be seen as advertising a prescription-only treatment.
What You CAN Say & Show:
Focus on symptoms & education, not treatment. Your video should explain:
- What the masseter muscle does and why it can become enlarged.
- Common symptoms of masseter hypertrophy (jaw tension, teeth grinding, facial asymmetry).
- The impact on daily life - e.g., headaches, jaw pain, or difficulty chewing.
Use medical, not promotional, language – Instead of saying “This treatment gives you a slimmer face,” say:
- “Masseter hypertrophy can contribute to facial width. A consultation with a medical professional can assess if intervention is appropriate.”
- “If you experience jaw tension or clenching, it may be worth discussing options with your healthcare provider.”
Stay neutral and factual – Provide information, but do not persuade or encourage people to book a treatment.
Refer to qualified healthcare professionals – Remind viewers that treatment decisions should be made in consultation with a registered healthcare provider.
Power Up With Paid Ads (Only Target Your Local Community!)
If running paid ads, ONLY target your local audience. This ensures your money is spent on potential new clients, not random views.
This is our time to dominate - let’s make #MasseterMastery trend and get more eyes on your clinic!
Are you in? Let’s make February our biggest month yet!
