As Director of Nursing at Juv'ae, education is one of the areas I am most passionate about, and I cannot wait to see what we can create with our new, larger community.
Across the year, our HCPs have access to advanced hands-on education, KOL masterclasses, clinical webinars, mentorship programs, complication education, consultation development, business education, conferences and international opportunities.
Aesthetic medicine moves quickly. Evidence emerges, products evolve, techniques change and regulations develop. For experienced clinicians, staying current isn't about collecting another certificate. It's about remaining connected to what is happening next.
In September, internationally recognised educator Dr Lee Walker features across Gloves Off, the Teoxane Sydney Symposium and a private Juv'ae masterclass. The symposium brings together international and Australian faculty for advanced anatomy, cadaver correlation and real-time injection demonstrations.
Our Teoxane Aesthetic Evolution Mentorship Program with Dr Tarek Shalabi provides progressive small-group mentorship across perioral rejuvenation, temples, medial cheek rejuvenation and full-face assessment and treatment planning.
In September, a group from our network will also travel to New Zealand for NZSCM 2026, supported by Merz, for several days of education with multiple KOL speakers.
Closer to home, our calendar includes education with leading industry partners including Teoxane, Merz, Galderma, CX Cosmetics and others, alongside Juv'ae-led training and community upskilling.
There is skin and biostimulation education, advanced AestheFill (PDLLA) training, hands-on product and technique workshops and advanced treatment planning. We also look beyond injection technique. Dr Cara McDonald joins our calendar to explore the psychology of consultation, while Professor Greg Goodman will present on complications and adverse events.
Our goal is simple: we want our HCPs to look at the education calendar and think:
"I want to be in that room."
The Juv'ae Academy is our central professional education hub, bringing your ongoing professional development together in one place.
With so much education available, accessing and managing it also needs to be easy. From Scope of Practice declarations, AHPRA, insurance and compliance education through to webinars, clinical education, clinical SOPs, upskilling and training opportunities, the Academy brings it all together.
HCPs can book training and webinars, access ongoing education and track CPD hours, creating a clearer record of their professional development without relying on scattered emails, certificates and links.
Important education also remains available through the Academy rather than disappearing once a webinar or event has finished.
Professional development should be rigorous. Managing it shouldn't have to be complicated.
There will be opportunities for experienced AAA HCPs to support, mentor and help develop clinicians earlier in their aesthetic careers through peer education, clinical discussions and potentially mentoring and training opportunities.
One of the things I am most excited about is the depth of experience AAA HCPs will bring to our community. Many anti-aging Associates HCPs are highly knowledgeable clinicians who have spent years developing their expertise and building successful aesthetic practices.
We don't just want to provide education to the AAA community, we want your experience to become part of the education culture at Juv'ae.
For those interested, there will be opportunities to support, mentor and help develop clinicians earlier in their aesthetic careers through peer education, clinical discussions and potentially mentoring and training opportunities.
Experienced HCPs continue to access advanced opportunities, while the next generation benefits from those who have already built successful careers.
This is just the beginning - more advanced education, more intimate masterclasses, more Australian and international KOLs, more hands-on opportunities, and more mentorship and industry partnerships.
And through the Juv'ae Academy, a simpler way to find those opportunities, book them and keep your professional development organised.
The coming together of anti-aging Associates and Juv'ae gives us something even more valuable: two established communities with an extraordinary amount of combined knowledge and experience.
